The ONLY reason JW's think they are the best religion is because their abusive 'mother' JW.org TELLS them that.

In the real world, people walk around dog poo , and forget about it the same instant.
I would like to think, somewhere in time, those who oppose and get out of JW.org will be touted as the courageous and strong minded ones.

Why would the sub circuit overseer need to lie? What was in it for him? Someone was going to hand him 2 tickets for a vacation in the Caribbean? It wouldn't be the first time.
I knew a bro who would give the circuit overseer his credit card for the week. Yes, this bro had a lot of money. lol But in time, he was found out and charged for using inferior products and not up to code construction. I guess not everyone was out for a green hand shake. lol

yesturday, i was talking to a friend and she said that in order to get a degree from a local college, they require a completed a public speaking course.
i said that was no problem, because i had been in a public speaking school for 40 years.
she looked at me like i had three heads.

We had one MSO with a Masters degree. lol He liked to council like he was a Professor and tearing apart all talks was constructive criticism. lol He didn't last too long. Everybody complained. lol
hi guys, i don't really post on here much anymore, having been on here since 2001. this site helped me out in the early days and has been a great support system for all of my past jw issues.
like many others i was discouraged from an education so that i could window clean and pioneer in my youth during the 80's.
having spent many years post my jw exit in alcoholism and periods of drugs, i decided to clean myself up 7 years ago by attending aa, i was still a window cleaner ... at the time i wrote extensively on here about my issues.

i've had quite a few things on my mind over the past few years, mainly my belief in god.
i've tried to move on from the jw past but that's really being foolish.
Between flip flop doctrines and an abusive ex, I thought LoisLane was losing her marbles. lol

Anyone involved in WT/JW.org has been abused and needs help. There is no shame or embarrassment in that.

i dont have any specific references, but over the years i remember reading in the mags and hearing in talks stories of imprisoned jws who would somehow get a piece of a page of a jw magazine or an article or something like that and pass it around and get spiritually nourished by it as if it almost had a magical or supernatural nature.
does anybody else remember such?.
i always thought it just didnt make sense.
How I heard it, someone would get something smuggled in page by page or less often, one (1) whole magazine and it would get copied down so more people could 'benefit' from the 'spiritual riches' coming from the zealots of Brooklyn.
I recall one experience told about Eastern Europe, where sister's would bring walnuts in a basket to the JW prisoners in jail. (Obviously, where this was allowed). The top ones were real in case the guard helped himself. The bottom ones had been carefully opened with their meat extracted and a page from a Watchtower tightly rolled up, stuffed in, and the two shells glued back carefully together.

i wonder if anyone else has had this experience or know of others who have.
when i was disfellowshipped, i approached another disfellowshipped person after the memorial celebration and asked him over for some refreshments and conversation.
he turned down my invitation saying that the elders had told him that he could not even talk to other disfellowshipped persons unless and until both he and they were reinstated!
I never heard that one before.
I was told decades also by a sister who had been DF in LA that there were lots of get together's for DF ones. She also told me that while she was out, that she saw a therapist for her many problems. She said there was a number of therapists with xJW clients.
I feel so sorry for the fellow that said no, he could not go out with you, even for a cup of coffee. Most probably since he was DF, he was trying to tow some stupid Elder's line and just went home. So sad. That Elder was seriously cruel. It is harmful not to have freedom to meet with others, especially, those in like circumstances.

well, i just couldn't hold it in anymore.. today, i exploded, talking to my mother about the family inheritance and how i am being screwed.. i told her i had been so angry lately, and just had to tell her what i was thinking, because the anger was slipping out at times, and i was making snide anti-jw comments .... which is not my way.
i'm usually quite direct.. i told her that i couldn't take being treated like a piece of dog you-know-what on the bottom of someone's shoe any longer.. that in the past couple of years, i had learned so much filth about the jws that i was getting more and more disgusted day by day.. i started shouting ... there is nothing wrong with me!!!
why do i have to be shunned when they hide child molesters???.
